Zzzz

I enter this haven, cold, but mine,
Sleepily disposing the evening’s dress to a cluttered corner.
Outside, the sky has dimmed to nothing
And I find you lain across my bed
Waiting for my want of you.
To this skin, be comfort’s soft touch.
To this corpse, wrap warm around me.
Your muted fragrance of spring and cotton sings me to sleep
And stays till I’m waken by the sun’s golden kiss.

Thanks for the cuddle session last night. I love you, Snuggie!!!!!
